Any employee who is involved in the use of abrasive wheels equipment.

Content & Aims

To train all delegates in the safe use of abrasive wheels and to:

• Identify hazards and regulations
• Test and store equipment
• Identify components and problems
• Change abrasive wheels

Content:

• Legislation
• Hazards
• Storing/handling/testing/inspecting
• Practical exercise

Assessment and Qualification

This is a fully participation course with both theory and practical elements. Delegates must successfully complete the whole course after which a certificate from the training provider will be issued.

Additional Information

The delegate should not attend if they have any condition which may be aggravated by bending or lifting.
